Tis the season to be busy...

At Colouricious there is so much going on! Not only have we the day to day running of the business- keeping up to date with emails, marketing and promoting, press enquires and sorting out the production of the DVDs but we are busy preparing for the Fabric of Life exhibition- which begins 27th November. We have many textile artists participating, including some of the artists featured on Talking Threads. This week we have been cataloguing, pricing and photographing all the work in preparation. I shall post further details on the exhibition soon.

Launching in a few weeks is the online gallery- Lizzy is a star- she has been working flat out to create an online gallery of Colouricious textile art in collaboration with the Amersham Art Gallery.

Also...we have the Talking Threads Christmas Special coming out soon.

I too have been busy outside of work- I keep saying yes to everything and everyone! but it is so exciting being busy!

I am organising the costumes for this years Hamilton-Pike Production of "The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society's Production of A Christmas Carol"- the very long winded name of a very funny play- first put on at The Edinburgh Fringe. So lots to do there.

Im off to Marrakech for 5 days this month- hooray! I am so looking forward to going- I am sure to come home with lots of lovely things, I love Morocco- so much to see and the souks are incredible for finding a treasure or too... fabric please!

I have been working extra hours in Su Chases- a beautiful interior design shop- helping getting ready for christmas. So with this, the Talking Threads Xmas Special and the Christmas Carol play- I am already in the christmas spirit whether I wanted to be or not!

So far...

So far...so good- well GREAT really! Talking Threads has been running on Sky now for 3 weeks- Episode 4 is out this Wednesday. We have had lots of great feedback from viewers, which is brilliant! We truly appreciate everyone who has been helping to promote Talking Threads, on blogs, in magazines and on websites. Thank you. We need to keep spreading the word.
