...and another.
After falling in love with Ingrid Jansen's crochet stool I was delighted to see that Dotty Angel has created a crochet footstool equally as beautiful! It looks fantastic in this room setting.
Sitting pretty!
Ingrid Jansen creates the most wonderful crochet topped stools made from reclaimed timber. Visit her Flickr page to explore the many wonderful crochet pieces she makes. http://www.flickr.com/photos/woodwoolstool/

50's Illustrations
These fantastic illustrations are vintage educational charts, I found them on Three Potato Four, one of my favourite websites to browse. They remind me of Miroslav Sasek.

Pale & Interesting
I was sent this link by a colleague... Pale & Interesting is a life-style shopping experience. Inside this site you will find furniture, accessories, jewellery and books all chosen or designed by Atlanta and Dave, inspired by their love of the functional, beautiful and out-of-the-ordinary. Their philosophy is all about mixing it up, teaming old with new, contrasting rough with smooth and pairing femininity with utility. http://www.paleandinteresting.com

Step in Style
I first saw Charlotte Liddle's work at the Sewing for Pleasure show at the Birmingham NEC. Charlotte embroiders and appliques leather ballet pumps to create unique works of art.

Pretty Prints
Martha of "Q is for Quilter" documents the scraps of vintage fabric she finds before she uses them in her quilts. Her blog is a fantastic source of inspiration for print design and graphics. The wonderful unique and retro feel of these fabrics makes me thoroughly jealous of Martha's fabric collection!
